I accompanied my husband yesterday to a job site, where he put the finishing touches on beautiful custom bathroom cabinets he had designed, built, and installed himself. We were there about 15 min and I spent 10 of them recording the angles and varying light of the empty, half-finished house’s interior.
I am working on integrating artwork, as a means for grateful remembrance and reflection, in my daily/weekly practice. This is a depiction, via watercolor and pen & ink, of the Ft. Pierce Marina, of when my family worked at the Farmers Market & Jazz Market this past Saturday. Taking time, for remembering and recording (as one can) moments of beauty, is deeply enlightening and also healing. Take the time, in whatever way you can, in your own life. Dona nobis pacem.
